The Day

Ani and Javi’s wedding has such a special place in my heart. We were introduced through a mutual friend and we immediately hit it off. Ani and Javi were so easy to work with and trusted every vendor or opinion I had which just goes to show you how much better a wedding can be with a solid partnership. Their wedding took place at Quail Ranch in Simi Valley, a place that reminded them of true California with their blooming flowers and luscious avocado and citrus trees. They knew they wanted their wedding to be “wildflower California” theme for all the out of town friends and family and Quail Ranch was the perfect backdrop for it. Not only that, the historic wisteria that blooms for about 2 weeks a year was delayed due to our funky California weather this year and ended up being in peak condition just in time for their big day!!

We infused elements from Ani’s Persian heritage with traditional desserts at the rehearsal dinner and Javi’s Mexican heritage at the wedding with a mariachi band and terracotta tiles as seating cards. This wedding was perfect from beginning to end with a stellar group of vendors - I wish I could relive this day over and over!
