In July 2023, Melanie was spending the Fourth of July with Jack, Meredith, and Jack’s family, enjoying the holiday together. They had already started looking into venues in Santa Barbara, and Mel knew it would be the perfect place for them—coastal, outdoors, and plenty of guest amenities. One tour later, they immediately booked at the Ritz. The venue's breathtaking coastline made a lasting impression. It didn’t take long for them to know they had found the perfect spot.
