My biggest piece of advice is to look out for wind! I have had to alter my plans so many times due to wind:

• Tie down cocktail table linens

• Make sure table numbers can stand on their own

• Incorporate seating cards into the menu and tuck into napkin folds

• Tape down any signs on easels

• Opt out of escort cards unless they’re weighted down

• Consider wearing your hair up

• Add weights in the base of your veil
