Ariel + Jonathan

Golden, Vintage Bash at Hummingbird Nest Ranch

Ariel and Jonathan’s wedding day perfectly reflected their personal style in every way - to the point of bringing some items from home as decor!

“I knew going into my wedding day I was in good hands and could not have asked for anything more reassuring”

The Day

Ariel and Jonathan’s wedding was truly a dream come true! Everything was executed with style and personality that reflected them as a couple so well.

I was lucky enough to help Ariel and Jonathan with the entire design of their wedding and collaborated with them on every piece - from invitations to dresses to table top rentals. It was a team effort and together, we pulled off a wedding with a stunning sunset palette with a vintage touch.

Ariel and I became very close over the course of the planning journey as we commiserated over unresponsive vendors, ever changing guest counts and knowing about all the traditional Jewish ceremonies. I learned so much from this wedding and had a blast making it happen!

One thing I was especially proud of was the design and more specifically some of the signage I made myself. I created the seating chart, welcome sign (using a mirror they had on their wall at home!), and menus. I even trekked across Los Angeles a few days prior to find last minute wax seals to replace those that were delayed coming from overseas. PHEW!

The ceremony was incredibly magical…and I’ve seen A LOT of ceremonies. We were racing the sun and the entire ceremony took place in the most beautiful golden hour. The chuppah was stunning by Knot Just Flowers and the traditional Jewish ceremony was officiated by Jonathan’s sister who is a rabbi in Israel.

This is a wedding that I will remember forever. It was an elaborate team effort and I cannot stop looking at these photos by Victoria Gold Photography.
